I’m Going to Disneyland!

Tomorrow I’ll be starting my vacation. I’m taking the family to San Diego and Disneyland!

So don’t expect to hear much from me for about a week. Oh, and I didn’t finish this week’s Optimistically Cynical, so I guess that is taking a vacation as well. I do plan on continuing that meta webcomic storyline though, so look forward to that. Just not next week.

What I hope won’t take a vacation is your backing of our KickStarter. Honestly, I thought it would be going a lot better and I’ve lost most of my faith that we will hit our goal. But you can always prove me wrong.

I guess I’ve just seen so many overwhelmingly successful projects that I thought it would be easier. My friend Ben Costa recently raised almost $28,000 to publish his second book after only asking for $6,000 and I had based our project heavily on his, so I was hoping for some similar degree of success.

Oh well. Live and learn, I guess.

But screw all that disappointment, I’m going to Disneyland! It will be my kids’ first time there, and it will basically be my son’s birthday, so it will be very special. Plus I’m an old Disney softy with a lot of fond childhood memories, and I haven’t been there since they built the new California park, so I’ll be having fun.

Try not to miss me too much.
